I am a critical digital media and information scholar who studies anthropomorphic design, virtual assistants, voice interfaces, and AI through the lenses of race, gender, and sexuality.

My current project, Facing Our Computers: Identity, Interfaces, and Intimate Data,
explores the linkages between identity, design, and dataveillance in AI voice assistants, digital assistants, and chatbot interfaces.
